This beautiful town is located in the Neckar River Valley in Germany. During the second world war, most of the Germany’s part was destroyed but luckily Heidelberg was spared from bombings. That’s the reason why this town still carries its old baroque charm with colorful houses and narrow streets. It also features the most beautiful Heidelberg Castle that can be seen from anywhere in the town. Located in the Königstuhl hillside, this historic castle can be reached via stairs or funicular train.
4. Cologne Cathedral
Cologne Cathedral is the most beautiful Gothic cathedral in Germany. It is also the third tallest cathedral in the world. The construction of this magnificent cathedral started in 1248 and it took around 600 years to complete it due to some interruptions. This massive cathedral consists of around 55 stunning pillars. The inside of cathedral will surely leave you awe-struck due to its impeccable architecture. You can also climb the South Tower of Cathedral and witness the surreal views of Cologne.
5. Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber
Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber is another spectacular tourist destination of Germany. The whole town looks straight out of a fairytale, courtesy to its narrow streets and colorful houses. The town also features a number of churches and landmarks dating back to 16th century. There is a lot to see and do in this old town. Some of the highlights in this town are Market Square and Town Hall Tower. You can climb the Town Hall Tower and witness the picturesque view of red roofs of houses in the town.

4. Streuselkuchen
Streuselkuchen is a special crumb cake which is made of dough and covered in delicious sweet crumb. The crumb is made of sugar, flour and butter.
